In addition to our regular degree programs, the Institute of Buddhist Studies is also home to a number of special programs, research centers, and educational opportunities.

Center for Contemporary Shin Buddhist Studies
The CCSBS provides for the ongoing development of IBS programs, furthers research and scholarship on contemporary Shin Buddhism, and aids in the continuing education of BCA ministers and students.

Each year two students from the IBS are able to study at Ryukoku University in Kyoto, Japan.
