IBS Dorm Dedication and Open House

IBS students and alums, faculty and staff, trustees and donors are invited to attend a special reception on the occasion of the reopening and dedication of the Rev. Dr. Seigen Haruo Yamaoka Memorial Dormitory.

Closed for renovations in 2023, the dorm has been completely remodeled due to the generosity of Larry and Vickey Yamaoka and the impressive work of architects and builders at Nelson Design and Vance Brown Builders. Read more about the project here.

The reception will begin at 4:00 p.m. with a short service. This will be followed by special presentations, a catered reception, and an opportunity to tour the redesigned building. Please RSVP for the event here.

Parking is limited at the dorm. Guests are encouraged to carpool, take public transportation, or ride-shares. The nearest parking garage is the Underhill Parking Lot at 2612 Channing Way.
